Meet new collaborators, find out about opportunities at The Cockpit, and crack on with your to-do list with a bit of moral support. Hosted by Theatre Maker programme director Amy Clare Tasker, with coffee and tea available from our bar. 

Wednesday, 6 July
11am - 1pm coffee and chat: connect with fellow Theatre Makers, and ask Amy anything you want to know about developing your work.
1pm - 7pm stay as long as you like: bring your laptop and make yourself at home

The event is free. Tea is available from £1.50 & coffees from £2.


Theatre Maker is a community of classes, workshops, talks, scratch nights, readings, and performance opportunities at The Cockpit. Check out what's on offer here, with more courses to be announced as the year goes on.

Alongside running Theatre Maker at The Cockpit, Amy is codirector of Pinecone Performance Lab and Voila! Europe Theatre Festival. With Pinecone, she writes, performs, directs, and facilitates the London Devised Theatre Intensive. Amy's show HOT (Helen of Troy) premiered at The Cockpit in February 2020. With Voila! Europe, she programmes and produces an annual festival of European Theatre. In London, her work has also been seen at Rich Mix, Camden People’s Theatre, Theatre Delicatessen, LOST Theatre, Canal Cafe Theatre, Theatre Utopia, Upstart Theatre's DARE Festival at Shoreditch Town Hall, and the Southbank Centre’s Women of the World Festival. Amy graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Drama, after a year at the University of Manchester as an international exchange student, and then began her career in San Francisco before moving to London.
