Produced and presented by Mary Panton
Launching Nature Keepers vibrant festival day we have a Ceilidh for all the family to enjoy together. (Ceilidh means in Gaelic a social event with Scottish or Irish folk music, singing and traditional dancing.)
Discover the exciting world of folk arts by taking part in our special Nature themed barn dance led by professional caller Mary Panton accompanied by Wraggle Taggle musicians playing guitar and banjo.
This experiential event is for children of all ages and their parents, carers and families to dance traditional folk jigs and reels with a nod to nature. Absolutely no previous knowledge of English folk dance is needed!
Bring the family along for a fun, high energy morning giving your budding dancers a chance to step and spin in a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. This will be great exercise for all generations too! And there are comfy seats around the edge for those of you who prefer to be wallflowers.
