Based on real childhood stories from Belarus, I AM is a documentary play about the beautiful and mysterious time that never returns, but defines us and stays with us forever. Formerly a National Theatre of Belarus until the political crisis of 2020, the newly-independent Kupałaŭcy make their UK debut with this child’s view of life behind the iron curtain.
