Kiss Her

"The rules of lesbian fiction are as follows..."

History hasn’t told the truth about women- about gay women. We’re going to re-write history, re-write the rules. Spanning through time, this episodic piece highlights the ways in which we view feminine and queer bodies; how they are watched but not seen. Kiss her lifts those neglected stories to re-imagined presents and hopeful futures.

“we’re not going to show you this / you can imagine what this looks like / you have seen enough violence against women to know what this looks like”

Kiss her is the debut play from Jack the Lass, an emerging theatre company committed to telling stories of women that have been silenced throughout history. Jack the Lass aims to engage with the communities whose stories we want to amplify.

Kiss her is a play that wants to re-write:
the narratives
the rules
the rules of lesbian fiction.

Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 August 2021 - 9pm

PLEASE NOTE: There will no tickets available for sale on the door for any of our Camden Fringe shows.

Tickets will remain on sale, where available, up to 60 minutes before the show's start time.

For this show we are returning to normal operation where ticket holders choose their own seats on admission to the auditorium.

We also request that everyone wear a mask when moving around the building, wash their hands often and practice self-distancing.  We have reduced capacities to allow for this.

You and your bubble will be invited to choose a seat and self-distance yourselves from others.

We will be running a normal bar service with extra tables for your drinking comfort.

For more information on how things work, have a look at our dedicated Covid:19 page.
