N A K E D was nominated for the Origins Award at VAULT Festival 2020, and this new extended version premiered at Voila! Europe Theatre Festival 2020.
At a time of increasing disconnection, what does it mean to fully embrace each other? What does it take to be honestly, authentically ourselves, championing female strength and male vulnerability? Queer collective NAKEDpresents brings together cabaret, recorded interviews, dance and music to celebrate the weird, the wonderful and the beautifully unique.
N A K E D questions whether the world is becoming disconnected in human interaction due to modern technology and the more recent feelings of caution and fear. The project also reverses traditional gender roles within dance and theatre, and is a celebration of difference, and what it means to truly be ourselves.
N A K E D is the first theatre show NAKEDpresents has curated, with support from organisations such as DANCE4, Battersea Arts Centre and Shoebox Theatre.
