Join us on an adventure this winter with an enchanting new version of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy story; The Snow Queen. This heart-warming tale of friendship is told through Dread Falls Theatre’s signature blend of puppetry, drama, and music.
Best friends; Gerda and Kai are as close as brother and sister. The day that Kai goes missing is the day Gerda’s world is turned upside down. She must leave her small town and embark on a dangerous journey across the country to find her best friend. On her way she meets a jumble of bizarre and unexpected characters; a wicked witch, talking crows, and a reindeer! Can they help Gerda break The Snow Queen’s curse, or is Kai gone forever?
Following the success of Tanglewood Tales, The Lost Luggage Adventures, and Professor Octavia’s Magical Menagerie; Dread Falls Theatre are back with this reworking of a classic fairy tale that is sure to become a firm favourite with younger audiences.
