Tom Goodman-Hill
The Emmy & Olivier-nominated star of Baby Reindeer, Two Weeks in August, Humans and Mr Selfridge, will read Vladislav Surkov, Donald Trump and Alexander Nix.
 
Joanna Scanlan 
The 2020 BAFTA Best Actress winner and star of The Thick of It, Getting On, Riot Women and After Love will read The Spirit of the Maidan and the Epstein Archipelago, and Boris Johnson.

Finbar Lynch
The legendary Tony-nominated stage actor and star of Child 44, Sufragette, Jack Ryan, and Hedda will read Alexander Dugin, Jeffrey Epstein, and Nigel Farage.

Mark Quartley
The renowned and innovative stage actor, RSC performer, and star of Tell Me Everything will read Konstantin Rykov, Steve Bannon, Arron Banks and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, among others.

Hardeep Matharu
Following her standout performance in the recent revival reading of Destiny, the Editor in Chief of Byline Times returns to read Narrator, Sofia and Priya, among others.
 



Taking place on the 10th anniversary of the Brexit referendum, this first public reading of the play will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Peter Jukes, Stephen Unwin, best-selling author Otto English and other special guests.

About the play

Trojan Horses follows the plan of Putin’s Grey Cardinal, Vladislav Surkov, to accelerate a hybrid information war against the West in the wake of the Maidan Uprising in Ukraine, and the involvement of Steve Bannon’s Cambridge Analytica in the vote to leave the European Union and elect Donald Trump.

  • Writer Peter Jukes is an award-winning theatre, radio and television writer, an author and a pioneering journalist, and co-founder of Byline Times. 
  • Director Stephen Unwin has worked extensively with the Traverse in Edinburgh, founded English Touring Theatre, and was artistic director of the Rose Theatre, Kingston
  • Producer Ben Dickenson is the former CEO of Theatre Hullabaloo, Executive Producer at Northern Stage and Literary Associate at Alphabetti Theatre.
